Sims 3 - Amazon

melanieA while back hkellick was teasing me about getting his Sims 3 before me. I chose to pre-order from Amazon mainly cause I have an Amazon credit card and earn points... I'm trying to get that damn airline ticket... so close...
Well I choose to get it 2 day delivery, which would cost me $7.98 in shipping. Which means I was scheduled to get my copy of Sims 3 June 5th.
Last night I received an email from Amazon about the Sims 3, that I could get release date shipping. Basically getting my item shipped to my house and received on the release date of the item.
And the best part... it was cheaper than 2 day shipping. The cost for release date shipping... $5.98. I think the option is only available in the US but I thought it was neat, and I would of never known if I didn't get the email last night.
