I haven't confirmed this yet but I may go at my lunch time to see if this is true. Got this info from The Sims 3 forums.

This week (May 31 - June 6) visit your local Best Buy retail store to purchase the $10 Sims Cash card for only $5!

EDIT2: I just ordered 4! ^_^ Site-to-Store pick up is great!

EDIT3: 8 minutes later got an email saying my order was ready to pick up w00t!

EDIT4: Went to lunch and picked them up! I'm so excited now!!

EDIT5: Apparently this offer is only good in the US that we know of for sure.

You do know what site-to-store is? You order it online and you can pick it up at the store of your choosing, but you need to do it at least 4 hours ahead roughly...

Eh. I'm downright refusing to buy more. :p At least THIS month! $70 for the game, $20 for the strategy guide and $20 on Store Cards.. is more than enough, I think!

The post on the Sims 3 forum claims US & Canada but I think they may just be assuming. I checked bestbuy.ca and so far I'm not seeing this promotion. However they are doing a deal where if you buy the collectors from them you get the strategy guide free.

I'm not surprised really. They may not even sell the cards here in Canada. The exchange rate would be tricky to deal with on it.

I love my Mom dearly but no that won't work at all. My paying her back would involve me ordering something online for her that costs more then what she lent me. I could try one of my brothers though. Only issue is the brother in question is leaving for E3 either today or tomorrow and he doesn't drive.
