I knew about this, but I don't run a Mac and, honestly, I'm not sure it's worth it since I won't be here this weekend (going to Vegas for mark's wedding!)

Yes, it's a free demo but it's only a demo of the create-a-sims feature. And only in Apple Stores, you have to be in store to see the demo.
