Anyone have opinions on which expansion packs are the best? I only have the base Sims 3.

From that list, Ambitions and Late Night are a must. But I still think World Adventures is better than Ambitions. :)

If you know eventually you're going to get all the expansion packs then go in order because if you get a later expansion pack then get an earlier one you have to uninstall & reinstall in correct order.

At least I think that's what still happens, not sure.

Order of expansion packs:

World Adventures
Ambitions
Late Night

I don't think that affects the Stuff packs (High End, Fast Lane).

I've just bought them all (well, other than the original game and Ambitions which I already had) through the EA store on download. Managed to get 25% off thanks to a promotional code (UK store only, I believe). Haven't downloaded Late Night yet, however, as I've been killing my bandwidth.

On EA Games, on Black Friday, my husband bought Ambitions for 12 bucks! It's the downloadable version. I haven't checked if it's still like that or not.
