Household size and importing to CAS questions

1. Is there a cheat code to increase household size above 8?

2. I have sims in an existing household and would like to put them in my premade sim bin in CAS. Is there a way to do this without going through the Exchange? It just feels awkward to show them to the whole world when all I want to do is pop them back into CAS and play with sliders some more. ^^;

A core mod probably is a lot more than what I need...but I wouldn't mind looking at it anyway. Which site is it on? Only one I checked last night was ModTheSims. I know I'm registered on a few others from Way Back When and okay with registering for more...my only restriction's that I haven't been able to get into MATY, even with help from Google. T.T

Well, it is on MATY but there's no registration required. Direct link to the relevant topic. I suggest taking the time to go through all the options on the configuration page, there's some things it turns on by default that I personally don't care for.
