I was hoping to get the new expansion pack for my birthday but no luck but lately I've been a little lucky in money so I was looking around and found that most places had it for $40 (well rounded up, $39.98, $39.96, that sort) but... I found it at Amazon for $28.99. That's about $11 cheaper that the other places I've run across...

Just thought I'd share!

I posted a very small picspam of resized images from my TS3 game at my journal. I should really take more screencaps of hilarious facial expressions. So far, it's mainly ghost activity and tiny green babies. Mmm, pollination hacks.

The Sims 3 forums has different challenges you can try out.

Love to hear if you try any out!

Sorry haven't been around, with trying to move in place (pack up trailer, get old trailer hauled off, new trailer hauled in and unpacking) and working 10 hour days (with DW now being blocked at work) I haven't had much free time x_x

So, I've been working on a set of homebrew apocalypse challenge rules. I know Pinstar is planning on remaking the official (semi-official?) AC eventually, but I just couldn't resist. Would anyone be interested in seeing/playtesting them?

104 pictures...and if you think death is the end, you're wrong!

I keep forgetting to advertise over here! There's a bit to catch up on, seeing as I only advertised the first entry here, oops!

ALSO, if you felt inclined, could you please go here and support my page? The competition ends tomorrow, and I'd like a few more supports! You don't need to use your real name, but you do need a real email address. You'll also need to click a link in the confirmation email you get for your support to count. If you could also select all five plumbbobs to rate my page, that'd be great too!

Thanks!

Hello everyone! I just joined the community today and thought I'd share a couple of houses I made. The pics I uploaded to imageshack.us are 1024x768 so rather than post them behind a cut, I'm just posting the links to each image...

(NOTE: This is actually one image but I just realized that because of the white space, it looks like two. I promise I didn't break the community rules on my first post! >_<)

Please, please don't re-distribute these! Absolutely feel free to download them to your own game and use them however you like - but please ask me if you want to make changes and then upload them as your own work. (Depending on the changes made, I won't object. But if you change the color of the house or something, that does not constitute significant enough change to go around posting it as your work. ;-P)

Also, I would love to hear what you all think! NICELY spoken, constructive criticism is appreciated. But don't be mean. >_>

Also, why don't I introduce myself? )

ETA: My tags don't seem to be showing up...is anyone else seeing them?

I got it over the weekend, installed it, and immediately put in Pescado's AwesomeMod. I'm still trying to figure out how everything works, but so far, so good. I homed in on the Lin sisters in Riverview. A lot of things are a lot more complicated, which I like, but Shirley Lin gets so drained at work she can barely accomplish anything when she gets home, especially since she's a coward and therefore panics when going out of doors in the dark. I hope once I get another promotion under her belt, she'll have more reasonable hours.

So far, the gardening is by far my favorite feature. I never did get the Seasons expansion for TS2, so I don't know how similar or different it is, but I think all my Sims will have gardens. I'm enjoying playing Legacy style with story progression, especially since there are so many characters in each neighborhood that I would never keep up with them all otherwise. Of course, last night I stayed up absurdly late playing, until I was yawning and could barely keep my eyes open. I just couldn't tear myself away from the game.

Is anyone else playing Riverview? Who's your favorite Sim?
